(Florence, 1936) He studied Architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana. It is considered an exponent of Mexican surrealism of the 20th century. Both his individual and collective exhibitions have taken place at Museo Franz Mayer, Centro Cultural el Cubo, Mexican History Museum, Antiguo Palacio del Arzobispado, Modern Art Museum, Palacio de Bellas Artes, among many others. His work is in collections such as: Museum of Modern Art in New York, Library of the Congress in Washington, Worcester Museum in Massachusetts, Museum of Modern Art in Paris, Louvre Museum in Pavillion des Arts Décoratifs, Israel Museum in Jerusalem, National Museum of Modern Art in Iraq, House of the Americas in Havana, Cuba, Ponce Art Museum in Puerto Rico, MARCO in Monterrey, Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC. Among his awards and recognitions is the Medal of Fine Arts awarded by the INBA and the XI Biennial of Graphic Arts.
