Residencies at Anémona Editores
For artists who want to produce silkscreen prints on flat surfaces such as paper, laminates and metal.

Hard facts:
Duration: Up to 2 weeks (25 hours per week).
Dates: Up to five hours a day, Monday to Friday, during the workshop's opening hours (9:00 to 14:00 and 15:00 to 18:00).
Price: From USD 1300 per week, depending on the specifications of each project.

Requirements:
Necessary basic to advanced knowledge of screen printing.
A clearly defined project to be carried out during the period of the residency.

You will have:
• Facilities:
Light table and working desk (computer not included).
Manual printing table up to 75 x 75 cm and drying rack.
Dining room with microwave and fridge.
WIFI.
Accommodation is not included. We can suggest options close to the workshop.

• Materials:
Ink set (5 kg).
Photographic emulsion for up to 6 m2.
Film for drawing positives (5 m linear x 1.6 m wide).
Basic paper for proof prints.
Solvents and materials for the preparation and recovery of stencils for about 6 m2.
Basic materials for drawing and correction.
Printing tools (spatulas, scrapers, brushes, etc.).

• Workshop support and expertise
You will have an assistant for the duration of your residency to help you with:
Assembly and disassembly of screens/stencils.
Developing, washing and recovering screens
Ink preparation and printing assistance
We offer technical advice
We can help you to contact suppliers to purchase the requested media (paper, metal, MDF, acrylic, etc.).

Additional clarifications:
The price does not include paper or other printing materials. These must be selected and purchased at your own expense.
The use of other materials and equipment available in the workshop (e.g. ink-jet plotter, printing table for formats up to 120 x 275 cm, etc.) can be made available to residents on request, with the corresponding extra costs.
We do not offer screen printing classes.
We do not work with textile printing due to the characteristics of the workshop.
